Month 4
For March we will be signing out 24 kits to make fabric baskets which are approximately 5” square, made from four 10” blocks and two 10” squares of fusible fleece or other fairly sturdy one-sided fusible. If you have leftover layer cake squares we would love it if you make some extra baskets or donate the squares for someone else to use; its one big Guild effort and you are all amazing! It would be great to have some Valentine and Easter themed baskets too – I bet they would be big sellers.
Month 3
Hark all binding lovers! At the February meetings we will sign out kits for “flip flop floor mops”. As you might have guessed, the predominate activity will be sewing the binding (precut for you) around the edges. We will be making 24 of these.
Month #2
This month, with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, and knowing that our Quilt Show is also right before Valentine’s Day, we signed out 31 kits to make 93 Swedish Hearts - adorable as decorations or treat bags.
Some of the kits signed out on Friday were returned completed at the following Tuesday meeting! This Guild rocks!
