Folk art applique flowers inspired peppermint Pinwheel quilt is perfect for spring or summer project. The question one might ask, if it is possible to make a pieced block with curved flower petals without any patterns or templates. The answer is, yes!

This class is designed to focus on cutting multiple curves through layers of fabrics and sew the pieces into Free Form flower blocks. It is easy and fast. Participants will follow instructions from the book Cultural Fusion Quilts, and construct blocks resembling large appliqued flowers with appliqued centers.

Sujata will share many tips on making free-form blocks and offer many suggestions for color combinations and layouts during the class. You may not stop at just one.
